We can cover lots of things under our Contents Insurance Policy (including those all-important personal items like your bike/bicycle, laptop, phone, jewellery and watch!). You can read more about what can and can’t be covered under the policy here.
You don’t need to itemise all your things to be covered - so we won’t ask for a specific list of your items. You do need to select a cover level high enough to cover all your things, though. You can use our Contents Calculator to help with this.
You may need to declare certain items, but you’ll be asked to do this during the quote process if it is relevant. These will most likely be expensive items and/or items you want to cover outside the home.
For our optional Out of Home cover for example, you would need to specify any items worth over £2,000 for them to be covered outside the home.

If you already have a policy, you can review this in the policy document that you can access through the ‘My account’ section of our website. If you don’t have a policy with us, you can review this before checking out and also read the sample policy document here.
