Travel policies can cover things like medical emergencies, disruptions to your travel plans, or situations where your personal belongings are lost, stolen or damaged.
Our single-trip Travel policy can cover a one-off trip in the UK or abroad, and our annual multi-trip travel policy can cover any trips you take during a 12-month period.
You cover both yourself and any fellow travellers who are named on the policy. For annual-multi-trip policies, additional policyholders will be covered even if they are travelling without the lead policyholder. It’s worth noting that we can only cover travellers who are UK residents and have been for at least 3 of the last 12 months.
During our Travel insurance quote process, we ask you to declare any pre-existing medical conditions for any covered travellers. The failure to declare this may lead to us refusing to deal with any covered travellers’ claims or reduce the amount of any claim settlement, even if a claim is not related to an undisclosed pre-existing medical condition.
You can customise your Travel policy by choosing between our Basic, Essential and Deluxe options, depending on the level of cover you require.
You can also choose to add winter sports and/or cruise cover to your Travel policy. Our winter sports add-on can cover medical emergencies and damaged or lost equipment. Our cruise add-on can cover you on a cruise trip of more than 72 hours in duration on a ship/vessel that includes stopping at various ports.
If you already have a Travel Insurance policy with us, you can find your policy documents (which also contain information about your cover levels, excess and what is covered by your policy) in the My Account section of our website. Here you can also make changes to and manage your policy, such as changing your cover levels, adding or removing add-ons, or cancelling your policy.
