Valuables are covered by this policy if they are accidentally lost, damaged or stolen whilst on your trip. Valuables do not have to be declared on your policy and can include the following items and any associated equipment:
• Jewellery
• Watches
• Cameras
• Camcorders
• Sat navs
• Drones
• Telecommunications equipment (including mobile phones)
• Other electronic entertainment devices (including, for example, MP3 or 4 players handheld games consoles, tablets, e-readers, and headphones)
There is no cover for loss, theft of or damage to valuables, important documents or personal money left unattended at any time unless deposited in a safe, safety deposit box or left in locked accommodation.
If a claim is made and settled, the maximum payout for valuables depends on which package you have chosen:
- For our Deluxe travel policy package the maximum payout for valuables would be £750
- For our Essential travel policy package the maximum payout for valuables would be £500
- For our Basic travel policy package the maximum payout for valuables would be £250
