This article is only applicable to our Contents, Buildings & Contents, Buildings Only, Tenants Liability Insurance and Select By Urban Jungle policies. If you’re unsure about which policy you have, please refer to this article.
If you have updated your payment details, or had a failed payment, you will need to authenticate your payment with your bank. You can do so by following the steps below:
- Find the most recent email from us, with the title: “There was a problem with your payment, your card needs activation"
- Once you've opened the email, click the button that says "Authenticate Payment", and you'll be taken to the Urban Jungle site
- On the Urban Jungle site, you'll be asked to either confirm your payment through a pop-up window, or in your banking app. This will depend on what your bank requires.
- If you have to complete steps in your banking app, you'll still need to return to the same page on our website afterwards to continue.
You should then see a confirmation on the page on the Urban Jungle site once you've completed the steps. You’ll need to make sure pop-ups aren’t blocked on your web browser, as this might prevent you from being able to complete authentication on our site!
We won’t be able to help you to complete the actions requested by your bank, such as browser pop-ups, security apps or online banking. If you need support with these, we would suggest speaking to your bank to help authenticate the payment.
