This article only applies to our Contents, Buildings & Contents, Buildings Only, Tenants Liability Insurance and Select by Urban Jungle policies. If you’re unsure about which policy you have, please refer to this article.
Turning off auto-renewal for your Contents, Buildings & Contents, Buildings Only or Tenants Liability policy is free and easy, you’ll just need to:
- Log in to the My Account section of our website, using the email address linked to your policy.
- Click “Manage Policy”
- Click “Manage renewal or cancel policy”
It's worth noting that turning off auto-renewal will mean that your last day of cover will be at the end of your policy term, whereas cancelling your policy will end your cover immediately. If you have a monthly policy and want to end your policy outside the 14 day cooling off period, you’ll need to turn off auto-renewal by following the steps above.
Please ensure you do this at least 4 days prior to your next renewal date (you can find your exact renewal date in your policy document). Email confirmation will automatically be sent once this has been done successfully.
Turning off auto-renewal for your Select by Urban Jungle Insurance policy is free and easy, you’ll just need to:
- Log in to the My Account section of our website, using the email address linked to your policy.
- Click “Manage Policy”
- Click “Manage renewal or cancel policy”
Turning off auto-renewal will mean that your last day of cover will be at the end of your policy term, which will be at the end of your annual cover period. This is the case whether you pay for your policy on a monthly or annual basis.
It’s worth noting that cancelling your policy will end your cover immediately, which is different to turning auto-renewal off.
